Jordanian Carnallite Salt - Timeless by Nature, Unique by Design

From the heart of the lowest place on Earth

Imagine a land where the earth drops nearly 430 m below sea level, and in this extraordinary place - along the shores of the Dead Sea - nature has, over centuries, gathered minerals, creating a unique deposit of salt.

On the Jordanian side, along the southern shores of the Dead Sea, the coastal deposits of salt and minerals are being extracted from this unique, hypersaline basin.

Our carnallite salt brings together the power of desert sun, the natural richness of minerals, and the heritage of an ancient land. Each crystal forms where water gives way to sunlight, in a place where the earth holds billions of tons of salt beneath its surface. Add more than salt to your self-care - add history, authenticity, and a ritual deeply rooted in nature.

Why this salt is exceptional?

Intense sun and desert climate: Along the shores of the Dead Sea, coastal brines naturally evaporate under strong sunlight and dry desert air, allowing highly concentrated salt crystals to form.

Mineral richness: Unlike typical sea salt, Dead Sea salt contains a broader spectrum of natural minerals, giving it a uniquely distinctive, region-specific character.

Heritage and distinction: For centuries, this remarkable body of water has been associated with premium natural ingredients, and its salts and minerals have long been used in high-end beauty and wellness traditions.

Salt harvested from the northeastern shore of the Dead Sea differs from carnallite salt sourced from the Jordanian side of the Dead Sea. Although both come from the same body of water, variations in shoreline, climate, sun exposure, and evaporation rates influence their mineral composition.

Jordanian carnallite salt is composed of potassium and magnesium chlorides (potash and carnallite) in their natural form. Carnallite is rarer and valued in skincare because it contains higher levels of naturally occurring minerals.

Jordanian carnallite salt is not typically salty in taste; it is richer in MgCl₂, KCl, and CaCl₂ and contains less sodium. This makes it gentler on the skin and well-suited for relaxing, mineral-infused bath rituals.

Carnallite salt is primarily used in the production of body scrubs, bath salts, and Dead Sea mud masks. It is highly valued in luxury products.

Jordanian carnallite salt is often considered more exclusive due to its high mineral content and rarity, while its naturally low NaCl makes it gentler on the skin and ideal for a soothing, restorative experience.
